Every time I walk by a Salvation Army bell ringer I look at their slogan on the sign next to them and can’t help but laugh.
The Salvation Army’s slogan this holiday season is “Doing the most good.”
By “the most good” do they mean spreading homophobia across a whopping 124 countries?
Or are they referring to their threats to close numerous soup kitchens that feed thousands of hungry people if they are “forced” to grant basic civil rights to LGBT employees?
Either way I will be dropping my change elsewhere.
Take your bell and shove it.
