Anonymous asked: What is your fondest childhood memory?

My big Italian family lives nearby, so every Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, we’d all get together and eat at my aunt’s house. I just have brief memories of Christmas of 1995. Nothing overly significant happened, but the sounds and smells going around the house are still very vivid. Laughing, dishes clanking, pasta sauce over the stove and lots of garlic.

I specifically remember my aunts and uncles bringing all the kids outside and having us look at the stars, waiting for Santa’s sleigh to fly across the sky.
